His story reminds me of Arthur Rimbaud, a young, brilliant poet, who died young, lived with his male lover and mentor, and whose family didn't realize he was so famous for his poetry until it was too late.

🎶 "Something in the Way She Moves," 🎶 I cannot help myself thinking of this song and this piece and the photograph that impresses the idea upon me that there is a slight resemblance to you, Tonya, with the young man's daring and spirited attachments of which you have written about in these pages. A life as it comes, at times disruptive of the beauty breaching the surface. I can see why Yesenin and his work and his story could move so many people. Desperately sad as far as I can see from this Sebastian's representation of a poet, unknown to me prior to this posting. It did pass through me that it is also sad that in those days so long ago there were no medical disciplines or medications to help what to me appears to be almost a series of psychotic breaks adding to his vibrance and self destruction. Such illness too often surfaces in the late teens to mid 20's, agewise. Lord, the boy wore himself down and out, as Sebastian's articulates it so well. That hollowness, he presents, which some humans cannot evade and get blown away as a result. Thank you for this extraordinary piece and its revelations. I admire it.
